I am a student. Can I register myself directly?
No, registration is only allowed through your school. Please ask your school to complete the registration process on your behalf.
I have registered all students as a school, but now there is one student remaining. Can I register and pay the fee for that student individually?
Yes, it is possible. You can register students in bulk or register and pay the fee for a single student individually.
Can we start working on the project before the problem statement is released?
You’ll need to wait for the problem statement, which will be released on 7 December 2024. However, you can start preparing by brushing up on AI concepts, learning new tools, or working with your team to brainstorm general ideas.
What if I don’t have a laptop or software for coding?
If you don’t have access to a laptop, try reaching out to your school for support. Many schools provide computer access for such competitions. As for software, we will recommend free tools and resources that you can use for your project.
I don’t know how to code yet. Can I still join OlympAI?
Yes! OlympAI is not just about coding; it’s about exploring AI and solving real-world problems. While coding will be part of the challenge, we encourage students to learn along the way. Beginners can collaborate with teammates who are familiar with coding, and use online resources provided during the event.
I’m nervous about participating. Will there be any help or guidance?
Absolutely! We want you to succeed. You’ll have access to learning resources, guides, and possibly workshops to help you understand the AI concepts needed for the challenge. You can also ask questions or seek advice from teachers or mentors.
